Nowadays, sports have become a bigger thing in peoples everyday life in America. In every sport there're is a lot of competition against other teams, that sometimes brings several problems because the other team may think you're cheating. According to the article  "Drug abuse in Athletes" it states that some athletes take advantage of drugs and do not comprehend the consequences that come with it. In our opinion, basketball is one of the most popular sports right now in America, which means that there is more competition and more interesting things about basketball.  For a while basketball has been popular for just how they play or how hey show out in the court. On the other hand, football has been  a bigger competition besides basketball and what that's telling you is that  Football is another sport that's very popular and common and  very interesting to watch. Both of these sports are popular because of the players that they see on television or they have grew up playing that sport, the sport that's more common is Basketball and the reason that it's more common is because of the players, don't get us wrong Football is another common sport people know about but in reality most people have more interest in Basketball then Football. To wrap things up both sports have a lot of potential and as well with several opportunities for players.
